Sewage Site - Day 28 - 2 Hammered & Roman Silver - Solo Hunt...

I was pretty sure today might be the day the silver streak ends, as I was gridding solo for 6 hours.
Conditions are now perfect (after the ankle breaker sessions, it's now drilled) & this is our last good field before the head scratching starts. I think we can complete this on our next outing.
But for now I can't believe we have had 4 Roman Silvers in the last 4 outings! (given the time of year it is) We now have 5 Roman Silvers this month which makes it our best ever April on record.

Rather have the 2-man machine, but I've always been quicker & I have the best machine & biggest coil. Therefore, I've always had the majority of finds, but 1 man down is less area covered.

Now that Cru'dad has had a close look at the Roman Silver, he has corrected my ID to the following:
Julia Paula Denarius. 219 AD. IVLIA PAVLA AVG, draped bust right / VENVS GENETRIX, Venus seated left, holding apple and sceptre. RSC 21. * Sear RCV 7658 * WildWinds.com
Julia Paula, AD219.
This is only our 2nd of her & a different reverse type. So another first.
