Shaped stone found in Creek near known CW camp and Native American Activity

I have been chasing relics in this area for some time. There was an early CW battle not far from this site, and there was an encampment very near, if not right at it. There are also bent trees in the area. I saw this chipped rock in the creek. Looks like it could be for a foundation, but that's a guess.

It was found very near this. I believe this to be a grinding stone. If you stand it up on its end, you can see moss or mold where the organic material might have been ground.

Try grinding some popcorn with it. Don't think it is going to work well for you. And the rock looks like it will defoliate very easily. But I don't know much about Eastern tools.
