Here's a link to Wikipedia. It seems Sheriff John was a long running children's T.V. show in L.A. from 1952 to 1970. I couldn't find a thing listed on the watch. You may get a lot more help from there. The other thing you could try is calling a Children's T.V. Memorabilia dealer in L.A. Sounds like it would a local item. No idea on the value.....
