I guess you missed a lot of history then? The 60s - assassinations, race riots, viet nam, hippies, drug culture, civil rights wars, etc, etc. do I even have to mention the 70s?? Disco itself was a tool of the antichrist. The pure greed and pastels of the 1980s.

Actually now with the recession behind us things aren't all that bad in this country.
