Found this at the fort I have been hunting.
I know there is more.
Here is the picture of the 1845 Large Cent.
It is my oldest coin to date.

Thanks for all your wonderful replies.

For those of you that have inquired about the "4" in the date being a double strike or an over date. First of all I must compliment you on your eye to detail, unfortunately, it is just crud that did not get cleaned off all the way. I wish it were an over date. I would consider myself very fortunate...and I still do consider myself very fortunate to have found a large cent.
