Recent find at a local sale - rumored to have been found in an officer's personal items returning from Germany after serving in WW2. Rumored being the key word. I gambled on it, but have no clue if the item is authentic or a reproduction. Any thoughts and ideas is greatly appreciated. Cannon itself measures approximately 17 inches

Those were sold to tourist in Tiajauna Mexico I bought one in the 60's. I doubt it's worth more than $25 as collectible. look on ebay?
