Hi all... Just thought I would post pics of my latest shipwreck diorama in progress. I sold my first three privately and sold my forth one to McLarty Treasure Museum in Sebastian, Florida.
This one started as similar to my other ones with the shipwrecks as the main focus, but once I started working with the clay, this is what "came out"... Hope you all like it... It is my first attempt at sculpting a person...
Everything is hand made with the exception of the display case itself and the galleon model (which I assembled, painted, and wrecked)... The backdrop is hand painted (stormy weather and Spanish conquistor) and the clay was all hand sculpted).... I am just finishing up the painting now... Had to wait for the clay to dry.
Any suggestions to improve upon my diorama project is welcome...
