"SHORT CUT HOME FROM SCHOOL"(1887 TOKEN)
Hi everyone, yesterday i thought i mit try something a little different.For over a hundred years the local kids have been using this path across the flood way as a short cut to get to the other side.Theres about half dozen schools in the area, all every close too each other.Schools here are out of bounds too everyone except those who have school issues or you are picking up their child.Safety law.This even applies after hours.There's a few kids taking this short cut home, i figured that they must loose the odd item.So i worked the left hand-side to about 4 foot out and then left hand side.Took most of saturday afternoon.Lots of trash and lots of trash.I found a 1887 token that was issued to local school children as gift to Celebrate Qneen Victoria"s fifty years of reign.Local issue{Sandhurst} and i found this knobbly cigar holder and brass "O" must fell of a saddle and a small embossed bottle near the floodway bed.The token has been in ground a long time and took me about 2 hours to clean up.Thanks to P.B.K for you help I.ding it.heres a few pic of the finds.Still trying too work out the camera.

like the bottle... nice and small. What is a cigar holder doing on a path that children use?
