Primary Interest:
Relic Hunting
Since most of my landowners were out of town or had deer hunters on the property I went back to our old campsite we have been hunting. Took along another guy who also was learning the TDI. First signal was a round ball. Then dug two 3 ringers about a foot apart. The last was a button hook. This button hook is only about 3" long so I was wondering if it was used for shoes or clothing.

Nice Digs Randy!! HH, Quindy.

Thanks Quindy. We did not hunt very long and those woods are so thick hunting was difficult. We really only hunt there in the winter time but I had some time to hunt and we always find something there. But the rain and humidity made it a very short hunt.

Nice finds! Deer season kinda cuts down detecting time.

great finds. amazing that hook is intact

Yes it does. We were actually hunting in a very heavily wooded spot but was on private land who allows no hunting. We just had pray there was no trespassers.

If I had been using my MXT PRO I probably would have not dug the button hook as it would have sounded like iron. With the TDI it gave a low tone very similar to a bullet.

That button hook is a GREAT camp relic! Never seen one posted before. Very cool find.

Best Wishes,

Buck

Great finds Randy!!!
