This afternoon I was able to do some hunting at a colonial homestead that was replaced by a "modern" 1860s home.... :)

For the first hunt at the site, I didn't find huge quantities but did come home with one fatty IH and a newer eagle button, a half of a pewter flat button and some "what is its". And I dug more junk in two hours today than I did hunting all day earlier in the week with the GPX.... :-[ ::)

Hopefully the next time the hotspot can be found. :)

Nice digs! I ought to know because I pulled the same button and same year IHP (yours better shape)out of my own back yard,lol.
 

You may not have found the hot spot, but those are some good finds!

Congrats on your Injun....If you're gonna dig one, you mine as well dig a War Date, those are my favorite (other than the 1877 ;D :wink:)
