Got out early yesterday morning to do a little hour hunt at the CW campsite before work. Pulled a few bullets and some interesting pieces. The one bullet pictured below has "carvings" on each side(3rd and 4th picture). Don't know if it was a piece of farm machine that did it or it was carved that way by a soldier. The one piece of lead has a hole through it...looked to be just round and flat at one time before hit by a plow. Anyone know what the piece in the last picture may be? Not sure if it's off farm equipment or CW related. Thanks for looking.

Nice finds Matt. The iron relic looks like a "clevis" from ag. equipment (plow) and the lead with the hole in it is probably a fishing sinker. WTG, Quindy.

Very nice saves! Looks like the one 3 ringer was laid on a hot iron or something...

lead with hole could be from a toothpaste tube, I have several. I have also found lead flat washers, these acted like a lock washer as they squashed when tightened and held firmly.

The bullit looks almost like it was squeezed with pliers lol :dontknow:, The iron object looks like a shoe, ie. small mule or donkey. Don't know if they shod donkey's though. nice finds

Yeah. I don't think a large machine would make perfect marks on both sides of the bullet. Then again, I guess it could. Who knows! :dontknow:

Nice digs. the lead with the hole in it looks like a Williams cleaner zinc pin that had the pin broken off leaving just the end with a hole in it.

Good finds, i think im going out there tomorrow morning for a while, hope to have a few nice things to post as well :icon_thumright:

What time Ryan? I may go...the wife has something to go to. :icon_thumleft:

I found 1 williams cleaner on this property. I don't think the bottom was that big on the cleaners.

Great job Matt ! Your doing well buddy! Congrats on the great saves!
