Today was a solo hunt for me in the windy rain for 6 hours 15 minutes.
I wasn't expecting much so this was a good surprise.
Funny story on the broken Roman Silver - I was gridding way outside the Roman area in the hope for more finds like Monday. I thought I would try a new game/tactic. I would grid past my last turnaround point until I did another dig, & repeat the process, so that I was progressively getting further & further into the middle of no-where. As there were hardly any signs/digs, I soon ended up too far away & just as I worked out that 1 run was now taking 20 minutes so its time to stop this bad idea, I turned around & found the Roman Silver. I then thought, OK maybe I will continue the game..lol But there was nothing else around.

26 Early Saxon Pot Shards (Smashing my last 1 day record) - These are actually extremely rare finds.
Victorian Horse Brass
Neolithic Flint
Medieval Buckle
3 Roman Bronze Coins - 1 Nice one!
1 Hammered cut Halfpenny (Shortcross)
2 Roman Silver Denarius - 1 unknown & the other 74AD Vespasian (Type I need):icon_thumright:

That's a stunning Constantine! Looks like a Trier mint? Congrats on your Vespasian! His Denarii had a lot of silver in them.
