I was checking a 6 th Element, when the signal shut down Saturday around noon. I was using my 37 inch long L-rods, because it takes a large quantity of Element, to move them.
I live directly South of Traverse city. Badly drawn while Dowsing from my back yard it shows, most signals are genuinely North, with a big Meteorite to the NE, a stand alone Gold SW, a few Coppers by themselves. Nothing much S, SE, at all.
Waiting for power to pick up again. I’ll drive down the road to get my triangulation coordinates, transfer them to my County GPS map. These lines represent large distant targets, containing Element numbers listed. Dowser

I look at the rods as being an antenna that's needs to be trimmed just like a CB ot Hamm Radio antenna,s....Art

Dowser, don't feel bad about being shut down,. It happens here too as well as at other places. I use the shutdown time to catch up on some other things.

elh, thanks!! I’ve posted many times writing that Dowsing power isn’t constant, your the first other Dowser that has confirmed that. I’m in Michigan, where are you?
We are definitely in a Solar Minimum, with at least 400 spotless days to go before we start to come out of Minimum. Dowser

The Northernly coordinate lines drawn in pencil. I only need power back on to get my triangulation quardinates, then draw the connection line to where they meet. It might be awhile, winters coming. Dowser

I am in the deep 'woods' redneck Alabama. Actually 32 miles North of Gulf Of Mexico.

With Dowsing signal too weak to detect, with the rods I was using, I had to use my thin copper triangle rods just to pick any lines up at all. Pretty much the most sensitive rods possible. Again I am able to Dowse. Power still isn’t constant, it still pulses, and it still continuously varies in intensity and duration. I know I say that it shuts down, but the pulse continues to pulse as far down as I can receive it with my rods. I’m not sure how close I am to the bottom of signal. I keep coming up with new rods that signal a weaker signal. Dowser

Try the North, South, East and West dowsing lines. I find these are.the strongest.Art

With slight power back on for a short time, and using totally different rods I ventured out to 3 miles east to get my triangulation coordinates for my beginning lines. I saw that the lines weren’t colaberating. After tests I realized that using my phone for GPS direction was not accurate, with a signal drift up to 15 degrees from correct. The quick movement of my phone throws it off, and it takes 5 minutes to align correctly. Soo, back to using a hand held compass. All my previous coordinates were wrong, so I started over, checking Element lines with the new rods, and getting new accurate direction coordinates. With 4 Elements, I only pick up 6 lines total. These small sensitive rods are receiving bigger targets than before. With further testing I see that I am picking up the lines from 6 different Meteorites, in different directions.
I Dowse lines in all directions! My lines are N25, N337, N360, S173, S212, SW220. Yes the N360 is coordinal, but that’s because a meteorite is directly North of me. None of the other lines are coordinal. Thanks Art, but I’ll stick to what works for me. How can you find a target if it’s not N, S, E, W only, baffles me. Dowser

Hand held GPS are can be up to 20 feet off. Mine sometimes is off hundreds of feet when at 6 miles but are great for trangulation
