Sick box today...

OK so I haven't had much luck with boxes - never more than 1 in a box and a load of skunkers. My first foray into CRH was $200 in handrolls where I got 47 keepers, including 16 Franklins - and I thought "Wow! This is great!".... little did I know. Anyhow, I had lost some interest, but I kept at it, getting dump bags from a friendly bank (which, though not yielding a TON more silver, were slightly better and have interesting foreign coins and whatnot), trying quarter bags (Nope. Dont do it), and then back to boxes this weekend. Got 2 from my supplier, and Box 1 gave up a meager, if worthwhile, 2 40%ers, a 1965 and a 1968. This alone made the box worth it and if #2 was equally generous, I'd be just fine.

Well.

With a tip of the cap to Rileyboy, it is indeed out there, if you keep looking. And let me tell you I was near to give up on the hobby......

and theres also a 2007 gold plated Ken - is this worth anything? Can someone please tell me? Its in really nice shape near-mirror finish

aaaand theres a half that looks like it was split on the flat side, with the front looking clad but the back side looks silver - IDK what to do with that one, lol - into the WTF bin it goes.

Anyway, the moral of the story is, KEEP AT IT! One box like this will keep my spirits up for the next 50 skunkers, knowing that the bonanza MAY be out there, just waiting for me!

That is a great box! Congrats It gives me some hope and maybe I will give halves a shot again. Went nearly 50 skunks in a row on them and have been doing dimes the past 3 weeks.

I would cry if I got a box like that. That is super! I was poor in spirit tonight when I pulled only 7 roosies from $2000 in dimes tonight but your box assures me that I will hit it big as long as I keep at it. Thanks HH
