Check out Burton Electronics He has his own company where he sells sidescan sonar for $2400.Be sure to check out the samples of pictures that his equipment produces. They are great.

Burton electronics side scan is pretty much a fish finder transducer on a fish.Its very poor quality.A friend has a wesmar SHD 700 sidescan sonar for sale for 3k.mail me if you want his contact info.Its the same SS i have.
