spotted a sidewalk tearout in a small town on the way home from work, I had my etrac in the trunk so i jumped at the chance to hit it while I had time. I managed 14 wheats, oldest was 1912, 2 indians 1893, and 1908 (and there was NO "s") 2 merc dimes 1920 and 1937. The 1920 was lying right on the surface of turned up dirt, gotta love that! :hello2: Found one marble and a few odd items..........not a bad quick hunt!

It's like someone unlocked a time capsule, then walked away, and you
happened to be the first person to walk by and see it's contents! :o

The condition of the 1908 IH & the 1937 Merc are amazing! :icon_thumright:

Congrats on your finds Goes4ever! :notworthy:

What's that 61 token that you didn't even mention?? Much more than an "odd item". Shame on you.

Great hunt! .. Love the silver! .. Especially the 1937, thats the year my father was born... I hope to someday to be able to detect where they are tearing up a sidewalk in an older town!
