Found this in a really trashy park. Wasn't that deep...maybe 4 inches. This is the 2nd old canadian dime I've found in the past week, and these are the only 2 old canadian dimes I've ever even found, other than an 1880 Half-Dime.

Also found a 1945 Wheat Penny. Found 12 coins total in about 2 hours.

Either way, not too bad for a short trip. Friend Jon went with me and got 3 wheat pennies.

Nice dime!!!! I dug one of those last year, it was a 1907....but to me it might as well have been a 1707!! Man I was stoked!!

Sweet old Canadian Silver!! :icon_thumleft:

Thanks for all the replies...probably a decent amount of them by me...as I'm within 40 miles of Canada. But still pretty crazy that I've only found 2 and both within a week of each other.

Plus, at 2 different locations.

Again, thanks for all the replies...

Happy Hunting,

Good job on the silver. I was looking through my coin finds and realized I probably have as many canadian silvers as i do US. bob
