I finally got the nerve to knock and got permission to hunt a spot I have been eyeing up for a long time. It once had a funeral home owners house on it that was from the 1840's but burnt down in the early 1980's. His funeral home itself still stands next door and that was built in the 1870's. I believe he ran the funerals in his house before that was built. I did a quick random hunt to check the spot out and first hit was a 1876 Canada large cent. Not too long after got my first 50 cent piece (1944) near the old well. In the end I got two more old coins (1861 Nova Scotia large one cent & 1913 Canada large cent). It's a huge spot so I can't wait to get a long good hunt in and take my time. I'm sure there are many more finds there. Thanks for looking!
Anyone know what these are?
