Silver and Gold?!

Found both of these at an old site from the 1800s. Nothing but trash for 2 hours and then these pop one after another! The silver cactus dude looks to be newer but the ring looks Victorian to me… only thing that makes me question it is the fact that the “diamond” is chipped and there are no hallmarks anywhere on it. It has been resized by the looks of it, which seems like an odd thing to do with costume jewelry. Also the stone is very small which makes me think they’d go bigger if it were glass… any input welcome!

Thanks everyone! Diamond tester arrived yesterday and it’s real! Gold test arrives tm, I’ll let ya know what carat!
