I don't get out much any more, work gets in the way of detecting some times. But today was a nice day to get out to a couple old sites I have detected over the years. The quarter is a welcome find, I found another quarter there several years back, it was a 1872. The old axe cleaned up nice, I put wax on it then put in the oven for a while, my wife was not amused.
