same site that gave the skull & X bones & the Nova Caesarea.

on arrival 2 female hikers came off 2 trails--- I hear one tell the other :I was Terrified"--- I ask-- "a bear?"--- NOPE - a bigly a$$ YUGE coyote went belligerent on her---- the other hiker--- who..... incidentally ---- had GORGEOUS LEGS:love10:, was as shocked as little OLD me:laughing7:. I hit the trail--- and got nuttin'--- but, kept one earphone off & kept the head movin' like an owl--- I really would not taste good :tongue3:--- so fear was not needed:laughing9:

headed to the less wild area & got these--- silver plated, a bit larger than a quarter & 2 piece brass domed--- both have un- readable back marks. also got a bit O' CRAD---
then spent 30 minutes trying to recover a good hit under rock & root-- at 10 inches, I gave up and covered the hole...pickin' the stones & cutting the roots had me :angry4::cussing::censored::angry1:--- that hit can stay there:BangHead:--- back for more today--- should I bring a box of Milkbones:dontknow:???:BangHead::BangHead:

Noice!! Back when I was a younger lad we did alot of coon hunting, most of the places we hunted had alot of field around the woods so the coyotes like to hang out their, we would blast the horn on the truck for 10 seconds then listen for the coyotes to start yelping, worked every time, if they where in the woods we went to a differnt patch and did the same thing...

Port ewen ace.... I really would not taste good :tongue3:--- so fear was not needed:laughing9:

Taste is an individual liking, some prefer us old hardened individuals over the younger scrawny ones, as we are seasoned with a lifetime of adventures, disappointments, and triumphs. How they fit into our culinary formula I don`t know but the hunter always goes for the old stag.

Nice finds. Congrats

Nice buttons and story!

Where's the pic of the legs?

I was really looking forward to pics of the terrified victims. Sounds like a great day!

Milk bones? How about a huge slab of beef. Will make you smell cool as the temp rises.

They were just flirting with you no wild animals lol

Nice finds. You should have taught your hikers how to use a metal detector !
