Silver at the park

Went out early to Fort Steilacoom park this morning for a 2 hour hunt with my son. Found a bunch of old beer cans and other junk plus this 1944 silver quarter and an old (1980's style I think) Coke bottle. HH

Them parks hold a lot of old coin it can take years to fully search a park I have been searching the same park for 20 years and still finding old coin and jewelry search them well...

Planning on returning soon, this was my first silver quarter. There are several old house sites there and I heard a rumor a few cannon balls were found in the area where the quarter was found. Thanks!
