Oh, by the way, it is a hollow point so I quess it really was meant for a werewolf, not a vampire :>)

Silver works on vampires, too... if they were real. :)

I do know that silver is used in some bullets to reduce penetrating power for short range defense, such as on an airplane, where pass-through would be a terrible thing if you HAD to shoot somebody.

Thanks everyone for the replies. wvwildman, it does look like a Winchester silver tip X hollow point. I'll mark this one SOLVED!
