Silver by Flashlight

With days getting shorter, and not many of them left. You got to do what you got to do, and what we had to do was strap flashlights to our heads, and go dig a few more holes in the dark.

ZDD and me to a couple of small areas I sniffed out. The first wasn't as good as we hoped, so on to site number 2. I think Dave was getting ready to give up on this one too, when I heard him say "your not going to believe this"

I'll let him finish that off.

Anyway I'm not complaining with 2 silvers, the quarter is one of those 1968 50% silver, but hey, it counts. One LC, and the pouch has not been dumped yet, mostly junk in it anyway.

Before I started detecting, I would have considered some guy digging holes in the dark a weirdo. Now it seems like a perfectly wonderful idea! LOL

Silver is silver and it's still nice regardless of the age.
It's still a month to go before we start digging our way back up the other side to longer days.

Nice detail on all three coins, lovely silver! Ya the flashlight just adds to our mystique ! Lol! I use a head lamp strapped to my wrist so I can see my screen and what I've found, I detect on the beach, so I want to know what's in the scoop before I reach in! Never know when the crabs are using bottle caps for castanets! HH!
