I had an opportunity to detect for a short period of time this afternoon before rain showers chased me indoors. Luckily one of the few targets I found turned out to be a sterling silver pendant! Thanks for reading and happy hunting.
Dry nice. It being round I bet it gave you and your detector some fun tones.
Did it “read” like a coin? When you were digging did you think it was a coin?

It produced a solid high tone just like a coin. In fact all of my good jewelry finds so far have been solid high tones, and that includes a 10k gold class ring (which I thought would produce a mixed low/high tone at best). Anyway, I thought the pendant was an old silver coin at first, since the only visible part was a non-reeded edge. Too bad it wasn't an old coin, but it's still silver!
