Nice finds! The silver coin is a Spanish reale. Can't make out denomination or date. Someone will likely be able to identify it better than I can.

If it's smaller than a dime it's a 1/2 reale...looks 1840 something. Nice flying eagle. congrats

Wow thats what I call a great day. There is no better feeling than digging an old coin and the getting another single or multiple singles Those are some awesome display coins. My bucket is still waiting for the kerplunk of one of those coins. Tommy

must be nice to ask for a Reale to be identified! congrats!

Two great coin finds, congrats! :occasion14:

Great finds!

Darn. I was in a farm field in SOUTHERN Pennsylvania.
I was in the wrong field. Again..... lol

Awesome!!! Congrats!!!

Holy moly boss. Those are 2 coins near the top of my bucket list. Way to go!!

I agree with Spanish 1/2 Reale. Congrats on 2 great tough to dig coins.

Now that's a couple listers right there. Great finds! That field is a good'n.

Great finds congrats! If you look at the profile you can probably figure out a date range on it matching it to an example in better shape. The profile doesn't look like the Muppet head of Carolus III so it's probably 1 or 2 rulers later in the timeline of Spanish silver.

Nice finds ! Looking at the date on your Flying Eagle - it looks like the number after the 8 is a 6,
which isn't possible as they only made these from 1856-58 ?

Couple of beauties. Congrats
