How is everyone doing on their 1/2 dollar silver finds? It's been pretty dry here in New Hampshire....How do you think this virus will affect silver finds going forward once it's over? Banks here are beginning to go to Drive up or ATM only....lobby's are closing down for the time being....

I am stopping the hunting, and most banks are going drive-through only so that isn't an option anymore, honestly.

The elderly are where I think a lot of our finds are coming from- either personally or family members who are unaware of what they have. Most elderly people are staying indoors. We might get some people that are hard up for money turning in coins, but I don't think enough to offset the lack of traffic into the banks.

This might be the end of CRH on a personal or policy scale.

My contacts might dry up or decide I'm no longer worth the hassle.

Bank or delivery policies might change during this crisis.

My dump banks ( customer accessible coin counters) have closed their lobbies, so no CRH for me now - nice time to be out metal detecting.

I just e-mailed my brother yesterday and said that with the mild weather in Massachusetts, it's time to go detecting.
