SILVER, EAGLE I COAT LOTS OF GILT, EAGLE BREAST PLATE

the field ive been hitting continues to produce, got out for short hunts the last 2 afternoons and have found keeps each time, this area contained several period housesites as well as a camp used by CS & US troops, the best finds these last 2 hunts being a 1835 half dime, a Eagle I coat button with lots of gilt and a pretty beat up eagle breast plate or whats left of it.

Hey calmer, where u at in Va? I dug a breast plate yesterday...pics posted under 1780 homesite and civil war battle field finds. Love that half dime!

and the place im hunting i was told it was hunted out by a couple guys about 15 years ago, ive come to find out they only hunted one small area one time and never came back, buddy who was hunting with me found another breast plate last saturday at this site
