Thanks George for putting me on a nice site, I had fun thrashing in the mud and chest high weeds. This was the spot George and I hit and my AT Pro couldn't cut the mustard, well I came back with the Deus and found all these great finds. I had a first today, first time I think I lost one of my finds. It was a V nickle I think. The finds were caked in mud and I think I didn't get it in my pouch. Maybe it just wasn't a V nickle and really was a muddy wheat? IDK for sure, I'm claiming there is a muddy V Nickle sitting on the grass back there.
Enjoy the pix, I'll post cleaned up pix and dates later tonight after my meeting!

Hey, if no one could say otherwise, it was that chain cent Abe is always teasing you about lol! Congrats on getting out Brad.

Great hunt! One of us will find a Chain cent this year. Prob George....he seems to have the rare and early coppers on lock down. Wondering if he's ever gonna find any early silver :laughing7:

Congrats on the Mercs Brad, nice to see you're getting out bud!

I tested one of my farm field sites yesterday and my shovel only went in 2", so I'm a ways away for detecting here in Ontario yet! :laughing7:

I drive one and a half hours to get there, I could drive back and get it. He wouldn't mind, besides I'll probably be back up there in the future. Its not going anywhere. Of course it was covered in mud maybe it was a wheat?

Nice finds! Glad you guys got out and made finds! That is awesome!
Our ground is still frozen! My grass still has at lest 6" of snow.
