Found this over the weekend in a local park. I've been trying to score a Merc for some time, I find lots of copper - scored a 1775 King George III, early 1800's Large cents, a million Wheaties... not much silver.

Yah, I'd take this over a Merc. :icon_thumleft:

Nice Barber congrats.

They are getting harder to come by. I see a merc in your future.

That one is in very fine shape.

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Nice silver find! I don’t find many Barber dimes, I’d take it over a merc too! :thumbsup:

That's a good looking coin! I've found a few barber coins out west here, but not too many. Thanks for sharing.

Nice looking Barber dime. I'll take Barber's any day of the week.

That's a beauty. Congrats.

Well done!...and yes you did even better than a Merc! You still have that to look forward to now.

Superior Silver - Congratulations!!!:occasion14::headbang::hello2:

Fan DIME tastic!
One day a few years ago I dug a 1909S barber dime and a 1916d wheatie on the same hunt. I thought, and should have started a thread with "16D and 09S found on same day!" Then, showing the coins I would have stated "now, if I could only swap a thing or two..."

Grats on a nice keeper.

Great find!! Those things are getting harder and harder to find. Took me forever to find my first
