Hello All

David from NM. My dad bought these buttons about 20 years ago. I know that the previous person bought them in Illinois. Stylized MR with an arrow underneath. Each is a bit larger than a nickel. Appear to be silver. The monograms appear to be hand done, not all uniform. And each button is not the same thickness. I thought they maybe military or some other organization. Any help would be appreciated. Sorry for the photos. There are 10 buttons. button1.webpbutton2.webpbutton3.webp

It's not military.

What is hard to tell from the grainy photo's is if its Silver or Tombac?

and each has a dot in the middle, maybe turned or flattened on a machine?

I thought silver but was not sure enough to say.

Pure speculation but the dot could be breaking up the 2 initials, maybe indicating the marriage of 2 separate names or 2 separate words.

I never thought of that, but could be possible. On the backs they almost look like old LP records with turn marks.

Yeap, they are machine spun, forget what date range those are but worth researching.
