Silver football season

I’m at my mother in laws for the long weekend and her yard has been really good to me in the past but on this trip I was starting to think I’d gotten most of the good stuff already. Got up before the heat this morning, made a pot of coffee and headed out to give it a shot. Right after I started I got a nice hit on my safari that actually made me think wheatie, but I dug it anyway. Turned out to be just my second war nickle. Then several wheaties like always when I’m down here. Then I get what I KNOW is a silver signal, so I start digging. Out pops this silver football!! The eye has been broken but it says sterling on it and it’s got something rattling around in it but it doesn’t appear to open? Then a little later I dug the arcade token which about gave me a heart attack hahaha! That eagle and stars sure had me fooled for a minute. Anyways, thanks for looking everybody, have a good Sunday!

The football charm is very cool, its unfortunate it isn't complete. The thing rattling around inside might have once chimed like a bell. Wish my mother-in-law had a lawn like yours......

I remember the football charms. In school all our cheerleaders wore them around their necks. But we weren't looking at charms a whole lot. Congrats.

Does the Mother in law recgnixe the Football charm sounds like a good day. I have found tokens that are gold colored and foriegn coins that get my hesrt pounding for a sec but that sec is pretty awesome while it lasts. Good job!!!!!
