Its amazing how we stumble onto places to hunt by accident. I was running errands today and noticed a torn down house and noticed the neighbor was outside. I asked the neighbor who owned the teardown and quickly gave me the guy's name and how to contact him. While i was there, i asked the guy if i could hunt his 1920's house and the vacant grass lot next to it......he quickly replied with "I dont give a s$it". In about 1.5 hours i managed 1935 and 1937 WAshingtons and a nice 1934 merc and 6 wheaties and the usual assortment of memorial cents. And i havent even hit the bulldozed lot yet. I cant wait for tomorrow

Opportunity definitely knocked for you. I'm glad you took advantage of it. Nice silver finds.

Yep, that is sweet. Should be more there. Good luck.

Right place at the right time. Now tear it up!

Those are some really nice silver coins. Way to go, watching for places to hunt. When I was working, I always took a different way home every night. I always came up with some new sites to hunt. It pays to keep you eyes open.

Nice finds John ---It pays to talk and ask.

The lesson is this: Never wait. When you see the opportunity, go for it. See? It works. Looks like a great site. Nice finds.
