Today I worked in Harbor Beach, MI about 50 miles north of Port Huron. I stopped by about 9 small town banks on the way home. I collected $140 in Customer rolls and $28 loose from trays. This is about a 240 mile round trip from my house. All the halves collected from banks were CLAD!
When I got home Tanner and his brother wanted to go to the fish fry at school. As I paid for the dinner I noticed a half in the cash box. I asked if I could have it with my change the lady included it. It was a 1969 40%.
