I was cashing in a piggy bank full of loose change. After getting all the change in the machine, I checked the tray for rejects. This was one of them. My jaw dropped.

BIG SCORE!!!!

Very nice! But are you sure it didn't come from your own change? (Or had you not actually run it yet?)

Here’s what happened. I went to the bank to deposit the change in my piggy bank. I poured all the coins in. After getting the receipt I checked the tray for any rejects. I found the Franklin in the reject tray with a Mexican coin and a euro coin.

Whether these were in the tray before I put my change in, or they were in the piggy bank and got rejected, I don’t know.

You sure don't often see those running around in the wild. Day maker!

Either way, it's a win. I'd be delighted to find one, whether in my own change or not. :icon_thumright:

Nice find! Franklin halves are one of my favorite coins. Lots of them passed through my hands when I was a youngster! Congratulations
