From what I can find, the hallmark looks to be Revere Silver Co. Brooklyn, NY now a division of Crown Silver Co. , NY. But the picture in my book has a stylized R on top of the shield. Other than that the horse and shield look exactly the same. Hope that helps some.

I think that's correct! Thank you. And it totally makes sense when I think about it: Galloping horse..Paul Revere's ride..Silversmith Paul Revere. Great hallmark really. I looked at the Revere hallmark and it is identical except for the missing R. I appreciate your help.
