I doubt it will stop the seekers, but the person saving old silver coins might be tempted to cash them in as regular change. I was looking at feebay tonight, silver is still selling good, in most cases its double than what its really worth.

If you paid $700 for $200 face in silver 90%, then you gave 3.5 X face. I'd have to say buy all that you can, as it's trading on Ebay for 10-12 times face.

Where are you at? Either you found some retarded coin dealer or you totally fleeced someone at that price. Spot is at around 7x face. I'd get in on that wherever you are.

Something is worth what someone else will pay for it. Throw that fake "spot" price out the window.

I don't think anything is going to help finds in my area. I had not CRHed for over 2 weeks and I went and got 2 boxes today just for fun. Only got 2- 40s. My last 12 boxes were skunks (which led to my 2 week CRHing vacation). Looks like another 2 week CRHing vacation coming again.

There are several CRHers in my area now and the finds are slim to none. Unless someone dumps a coin collection there will be no more dream boxes here.

I have had a better time scouting for low priced silver rounds, coins, etc., from the local coin stores.

Like JewelerDave always says, we are nearing a point where finding silver halves will be as difficult as finding silver quarters.

If someone's town is still "virgin territory" as far as CRHing goes, they better get while the gettin' is good.

"Real" spot should be around 9-10x face going by e-bay and local dealers, I wish I could even buy at the comex 7X right now. 3.5x is just plain insane!!!!!!!!!!!!!

looking again i find 3 quarter and 12 dimes not silver. so a little cut there.still a great deal
