Been a while but I saw the shiny dime in the dirt. Only a 1947 Roosevelt but. Also found a couple of Indian heads, The soil is rough on the Indian heads here. I was away from detecting the sites in this area for about 8 years. Gave it up because findings were scarce. I had pounded about 30 sites many times. With the new detectors it makes it worthwhile again. More of a challenge but I still love dirt fishing.

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

I would have to agree with you there. I haven't found any silver for over a year. The only place in the area that I have found silver regularly is an old camp. It seems like the old farm sites just don't yield much silver.

It's scarce for me in Maryland. I/we actually found four silvers in my lawn, but am certain two dimes were from the test garden I "lost" some 20 years ago. Friends found the others.+

I agree, it certainly is getting more difficult to find silver, but it's out there. Better equipment has re-opened many sites for me personally. Congrats for those excellent finds- the 1873 Indian has quite the combination of green and pinkish/orange. The other one looks like a 186x- is it a fattie??

Nice find on the Silver. There's more, just gotta get your coil over it. Good luck and Congrats!

I don’t think so. One was so corroded that I had to put it in the tumbler for an hour just to see it was an indianhead.
