I haven't posted updates in a while because nothing too exciting. I have had a mostly skunk-free series of boxes, but the best of them only had about 11 kennedies, although there was a box with 2 walkers and 2 40%'s. Today I got $793.50 of halves from a local bank, loose, in a bag. I was somewhat nervous about getting shorted, because of the strange amount, but I caught a reassuring glimpse of a liberty bell near the bottom of the bag. I was about halfway through the bag, hearing LOTS of silver sounds as I grabbed handfuls, and by that point had maybe 5$ face mixed 40%'s and 90%'s. I could tell that the bottom of the bag was gonna be hot, and I didn't want to cheat my girlfriend out of another fantastic silver windfall, so I took the rest of the bag (maybe 300-350) to her work so we could go through them together. SO MUCH SILVER. Neither one of us could believe it as we gradually FILLED her tabletop with mixed silver coins.
RESULTS:
$93.50 40% kennedies
$21.50 90% kennedies
$3.00 franklins
$2.50 walkers
1 1944 Fifty Centavos (sure seems silver. from the filipinas :P)

I got greedy and went to a few more banks and had good luck again. Great luck for any other day, but kinda overshadowed by the huge pile of silver from earlier
One bank had 9 silver coins for me --- strangely enough, only two of them were kennedies! Both 40%, but THREE more walkers, and FOUR more franklins!! I was also able to pick up another $3.00 face 40%'s, and $1.00 face 90% kennedies from another bank. To be fair, there were 4 or 5 other banks that came up empty.

$2.00 franklins
$1.50 walkers
The franklins had one 51, one 52, one 61, and the rest 62-63. The walkers were one 35, one 40, and two each 42's, 44's, and 45's.
