Went to a local town here in South Texas and hunted a church my friend Pete and I have permission to hunt. We were joined by William which is also a member of our local detecting club. William ended up finding a 1938 buffalo nickel close to where I had found on a previous hunt a 1936 buffalo. He also managed to pull out of the ground not three feet away from where Pete had parked his truck a nice silver bracelet. I found a 1947 wheat cent and not too far away about two feet from the church, a beautiful silver angel pendant. Trying to keep this short and also trying out the treasurenet app on my phone. Enjoy and keep swinging peeps =)

That is a nice find, congratulations are in order.

Cobra, That pendant is an awesome find, especially in Texas. I live in Oklahoma. I've noticed most really nice finds come from Louisiana and north and east. I think Oklahoma/Texas just aren't as rich in metal/coin finds so that is a heck of a find.

Owassokie

Nice Finds Man!...Thats a heavy pendant..I would keep hitting that place hard, if your finding Buffs and Wheats

I took the pendant to a local jewler to get it fixed. Took him some scrap silver I had found while detecting. He only charged me 12 dollars for labor. He even cleaned it up for me too. :thumbsup:PEND1.webp

WOW!! That's beautiful!

Very Nice...I like seeing people "save" Their finds rather than scrap them.

Nice to see you thought of a way to make that pendant special. What a great find !

I gave it to my wife. She loved it!! I dont like to get rid of my silver and gold finds. I agree Owasookie.... there is not many old coins in this area. Wish I could find some of the nice coins and relics these guys on here post.

You kidding me? You repaired your find and gave it to your wife? What if it was on some dead man which died from plague or something? You should never wear pendants, finger rings or anything else you find...

Get real. That's like saying "don't spend the clad you find, it may have been lost by someone with bad luck".

I think it's great that he was nice enough to have it repaired and give it to his wife...

Lol! The plague around these parts?? Doubt it! Im sure it fell off some young person at a church event or while playing sports... While they were alive!!

Cool good job
