Chevy Chase Lake
The boundaries of Chevy Chase Lake are roughly Jones Bridge Road to the North, Jones Mill Road to the East, Columbia Country Club to the West and East-West Highway to the South.
The area is named “Chevy Chase Lake” for the artificial lake that was formed when Coquelin Run was dammed in order to provide water to cool the turbines that powered the Connecticut Avenue streetcar, which operated from 1892 until 1935.
The largest property owners in the area are Howard Hughes Medical Institute, The Chevy Chase Land Company, and the Housing Opportunities Commission of Montgomery County. The Chevy Chase Land Company owns the office building at 8401 Connecticut Avenue, and the Chevy Chase Lake East and West shopping centers.

No Idea where the Pool Sat / sits
