✅ SOLVED Silver plated?

I have a bowl. Here are the markings. I am assuming silver plate. What does anyone else think? image.jpg

And it is from 1967. It belonged to my Dad. 30 years of service at Western Electric. He retired 13 years later with 43 years of total service. When he retired they gave him a copy of his first pay stub. $12.80 for 40 hours work. 32 cents an hour.

Back in the days when employers actually appreciated their workers and showed that appreciation. Good for your Dad - I hope he had a very enjoyable retirement after that long period of service.

Yes. He retired at age 63 and entered the diaconate program at 65. they almost didn't accept him because of his age. he was ordained at age 69 and retired from that at age 89. He lived to be 91 and spent the last months of his life bedridden due to a broken hip but he lived a full, happy life.
