Don't worry Danny, prices will go back up in the near future. The commodity bull market is not near over in my opinion.

Danny,

I don't mean any offense by this, but if you are going to play gold/silver, you are going to have to have cojones made of steel to stay in the game and not lose sleep. Especially with silver, the market is extremely volatile. This is easier said than done and I have to admit that I have thought many times about liquidating my gold/silver bullion holdings. These corrections have occurred all the way up from $4 silver to $20+ silver. Now perhaps this is the end of the bull market and we should all cash in and take our profits and run. If you really feel that way, then don't worry about a buck or two and cash out. I think there is more room up to go, but that is just my non-professional opinion.

Some pundits say that these corrections are good for "shaking out the weak hands", and that they will always be followed by a new leg up on the charts. So far this has happened each time since 2001 when we had corrections, but it may take some time. I feel that with the current high inflation and increasing instability in the world, gold and silver are going to exceed their recent highs before the end of this year.

There is some speculation that either our country or Israel will bomb Iran's nuclear facilities sometime in the not-so-distant future. If this happens (and I hope that it does not happen), oil, gold and silver will take off, along with other commodities.

I didn't realize it had dropped a few bucks lately. It's OK, I'm in for the long haul.

i dumped all of my stash about two weeks ago when it kept dropping. I only had about 12 rolls, but i figured if it bottomed out a would be real upset. So i took 50.00 a roll fo rthe fortys and 120.00 a roll for the 90's. i lost alittle since the price went north of 19.00, but hey i got a nice check for 600.00.

where do you sell them? foundry's? coin shops?

If you are gonna sell, find a reputable coin dealer in your area if possible. You can check out prices on some of the online dealers to see if you are getting ripped off or not. If you dont know of any online dealers, google junk silver or silver bullion and you will see a few come up. When you sell 90 or 40 percent silver you will not get melt value most likely. But if you can accumulate a nice round amount, say 200 face, 300 face value, etc, you should get a better deal than if you walk in the store with just a few dollars face value.

Selling your silver so you can raise capital to find more silver sounds like a good idea to me. The best way to find silver CRHing in my opinion is to look at as many halves as possible. You will need to be buy boxes to reach such volume over time. Hand rolls can be good to supplement box searching too, but don't waste too much gas driving lots miles just to find a few 40%s (I did this when I first began CRHing).

Jim

Im glad for the drop...it was a nice buy op (200). CRH has been terrible for me the last few weeks! they're gonna drop some more next week so if you're sellin...get r done tomorrow or Monday.(just my opinion)

If you're in for the long haul then dont sweat the small stuff (buy the dips) we will have some good buying oppertunities in the next few months, but by 2009 Ill say $25 will be a low figure...I say $30 by march!
Charts could have gone 2 ways this past week (I guess there is no 3rd way!lol) Extremely bullish or the way they decided to go, we may see $15ish in the next couple weeks then a small rise and sideways for the summer.(just my opinion)
