My first 2017 silver was an unexpected one. I cracked into my first half box for the year, selected a roll that looked too short, and was nearly blinded by the gleaming, fully-reeded edge of a silver 2011S! I quickly forgave String and Son for shorting me $0.50. Never expected I would find silver in the first roll. The rest of the box was pretty uneventful, but did yield a 1966 and a clad 1974S proof. I also noticed a peculiar rim, and pulled out this 2002P with a collar break. A quick Google search brought up an interesting CoinWorld article from November. Apparently the 2002P is a well-documented error because the collar break actually shifted its location 405 degrees. My specimen is a 2/2 variety, as indicated by the small die crack at the trunk of Kennedy's neck and position of the rim cud at around 5:00 with respect to the obverse. Sorry, the picture isn't great.
