Got another bag of quarters, was a skunk until I found this:
S20180904_0002.webpS20180904_0003.webp

Saw the edge and kinda got my hopes up, but NOT what I was expecting. Seriously, I never expected to find a silver one, let alone a Canadian Silver :-p Got the bag hoping to find another for my books, didn't even (seriously) think about Silver.
Looked into it and its either 50% or 80%, somehow they both weigh the same, but yeah... Anyone know how to tell them apart? Thanks, happy hunting everyone!

Congrats!

Best way I've found is compare the ring sound to a pre-1967 and to the 50% 1968. The 50% will have a duller ring.

From what I've always been told, there is no fool-proof method to determine 50% from 80% Canadian silver. Therefore, the coins that can be either are considered 65% for buying/selling purposes.

That's a cool coin way to go
