It was a silver hunt
. Got out for three hunts the last three days . The first hunt was over at the local middle school that I hunt all the time . As it turned out I missed a couple of keepers
. I found a tiny sterling knot ring , #154 . The other good find was a 1938 Wheat cent.
The 2nd hunt , yesterday , was mainly clad
. The one thing I did find was a mood ring , #155 .
The third hunt was the best
. This morning my son and I meet up with eagleforce ( Ryan ) and hunted one of our favorite schools . This location dates from the 1950's and always gives up silver , today was no different .
I found three wheats , 1941 , 1946S and 1957D , all were deep , 7-9 inches . Then I got a sweet 7 inch +82 , silver dime
. It's a 1955D Rosie . The best surprise was a +20 VDI at 2 inches , silver bracelet
.
Total clad for all three hunts is $22.51 , Almost have $1,100.00 in clad for the year with one day to go
.
