Someone on another website let me know this is what's called a 'gryllos' it means its a missmatch of animal and human characters, how interesting.

Thank you, I was thinking the same thing, I only realised it had 3 other faces besides the rams head after cleaning it up a bit as the silver was heavily oxidised, its definatly very well made and been warn a lot because of the look of the silver, so it must be old but not too old?

That's interesting, even though the hallmarks are not visible i thought I'd post a picture of what was left of them anyway just in case so thank you for that. 👍
