Silver ring =(

No pic but I can include one later. BUT I want to know who's idea it was to take a Liberty Quarter Dollar and hammer/dremmel/file it into a ring =( AHHHH I was so happy at first to be getting my first ever ring and I could see it had writing inside. Then I get home and those were the words I read. I hit google and here are the directions all over about how to do this using silver coins.

I would have just rather have found the coin...

I can't really tell what it is from the picture but... I'm going to guess a walking half from the 1940's seems to wide to be a quarter.
I've made them before and the quarters don't come out so fat.

Definitely looks like a 1920s Standing Liberty Quarter (SLQ) to me. You can see her head between the B and E in LIBERTY. I would love to find a ring like that! Great find!
