This morning my buddy and I went to a park we hit fairly often. When we got there, we noticed that they had bushhogged the backside of the lake that we've never been able to get to. So, off we went. I found the Rosie about 5 inches down in what is normally under water (did I mention that we have been in a drought for a few months now?). She was totally black. This is the best that I could clean her using the boiling water, aluminum foil and baking soda method. The wheats turned out to be 1916d, 1941s and 1945. I really get excited when I dig an S mint. Also, sure wish that 16d was a dime! I didn't take pictures of all the trash or the clad dimes and modern pennies. Thanks for reading and looking!

Congrats on those 4 keepers. :occasion14: You surely took advantage of the situation.

Nice pile of coins.

There's always something good hiding in the water. I'm waiting for the next big drought so I can hit a particular spot near me I've had a feeling about. It's usually about 5 feet deep but about once every ten years or so it gets dry.

Congrats on a nice hunt.

Nice hunt, good job on hitting a previously unhittable area!

got to love those opportunities, great job on the silver and wheaties

there is a place im dying to dig on but it needs a good bush hogging, i've been checking it every week and nothing!

Congrats on the Wheaties and silver. Try a short lemon juice soak on the silver, then rub gently with q-tip. Looks like rain is on its way.
