Silver Sabre?

Can a person add a ground balance and threshold to the old big box Silver Sabre? Not the Umax style, the under rod mounted ones. If so, who does that mod? Thanks.

I would think this mod would be more costly than a new detector. I don't know anyone that does this except as for a puzzle to make it fit because of the GB control.
